New Service Request

Requesting water service from Ramsey Water is simple and convenient. Whether you're building a new home or business or moving into an existing one, we're here to help with your water needs. We're committed to providing reliable and high-quality water service, ensuring a smooth and hassle-free experience.

There are two options for new service: New Meter Installation Request and Transfer Existing Service Request. Please select which option best fits your needs for new water service.

Note: All applicants must call the office to arrange the payment of fees before the installation or transfer can take effect.

New Meter Installation Request

If you are building a new home or business and need water service for the first time, you should complete a New Meter Installation Request to have a meter installed at your property. This ensures you receive reliable water service from Ramsey Water.

To request New Meter Installation Request, download and complete the following documents:

Transfer Existing Service Request

If you are moving into a property that already has an existing water meter, you should complete a Transfer Existing Service Request to update the account in your name. This allows you to take over the water service without interruption.

Completed forms can be emailed to ramseywater@ramseywater.com mailed to our office (P.O. Box 245, Ramsey, IN 47166), or dropped off at the Ramsey Water office (415 Highway 64 NW, Ramsey, IN 47166).

New Service Fees
 

All applicants must call the office to arrange the payment of fees before the installation or transfer can take effect.

New Service Installation Fee (standard 5/8" meter): $2,000.00

Transfer Fee (existing services only): $10.00

Deposit: $100.00

Membership fee: $50.00
